At the daily White House briefing Press Secretary Sarah Sanders answered questions on a variety of topics including the job status of National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster and other Cabinet members, and the planned meeting between President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. She also announced that President Trump would travel to New Hampshire on March 19, 2018, to speak about the opioid epidemic. Ms. Sanders was joined by White House Legislative Affairs Director Marc Short, who accused Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) of intentionally delaying President Trump’s nominees to key positions within the administration. close
