Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) spoke to reporters during the Senate hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. He said that he was encouraged by Mr. Zuckerberg’s testimony but disappointed with how long it took the tech company to address the issue. He said that there would be future hearings on the topic, the next one being on Cambridge Analytica. The senator also commented on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. He said that he was concerned by some of the rhetoric coming from President Trump about the investigation, particularly reports that the president was considering firing Mr. Mueller. close
