Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) spoke to reporters during the Senate hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. “I’ve been a little disappointed, so far. I just don’t feel like Mr. Zuckerberg and the committee are connecting here,” he said. The senator said that Facebook had accomplished some incredible technological feats, but that there are some gaps in their platform, particularly in privacy and propaganda. “I say this gently. His user agreement sucks,” said Senator Kennedy. The senator said Facebook should take more responsibility in content allowed, particularly in regard to foreign influence in elections. close
