President Trump held a discussion on U.S. trade policy with governors and lawmakers from agricultural states. Ahead of the meeting, the president told reporters a new deal on the 24-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement is “getting pretty close,” but added a final agreement is likely months away. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow also spoke to the group. close
