Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar addressed the annual World Health Care Congress. He talked about his department’s efforts to create a health care system that would allow patients better access to their records and potentially lower the costs of procedures and prescription drugs. He also announced the launch of the “All of Us” research program that aims to collect data from over 1 million people in the U.S. to help researchers study health trends in various demographics. He added that lowering the cost of medicine and promoting research would help transform the health care industry. close
