Professor Anita Hill gave the commencement address to 2018 graduating students of Wesleyan University. During confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Professor Hill became one of the first women to publicly speak out about her experiences with workplace harassment. At this graduation ceremony, she replaced author Daniel Handler, who canceled his appearance amid sexual harassment allegations. Earlier in 2018, Professor Hill was chosen to lead an anti-sexual harassment commission in Hollywood. close
