Kristine Gebbie, President Clinton’s nominee for AIDS policy coordinator and former state health commissioner in Oregon, discussed her agenda for the position she will undertake in August, 1993. Ms. Gebbie would coordinate the nation’s AIDS policies. She also discussed the current status of AIDS as an epidemic in America and the policies of various groups concerning treatment and prevention.
