Two House subcommittees examined medical technologies designed to help veterans. Some of the innovations include robotic exoskeletons to help veterans walk and a system to monitor those afflicted with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Among the witnesses were the founders of the veteran advocacy groups Soldier Strong and Project Hero, and the chief scientist with the Energy Department’s National Nuclear Security Administration. close
