Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), chair of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), talked about the strategy to retain and pick up seats in the upcoming 2018 midterm elections. The senator said he welcomes campaign support for his party’s candidates from big names like former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton but that ultimately each candidate must decide. Senator Van Hollen spoke and took questions from reporters at the Christian Science Monitor breakfast series. close
