Former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy said she is confident that much of the work done during her tenure at the EPA will remain despite proposed rollbacks of environmental rules and standards by the Trump administration. She also said safe drinking water in the U.S. and around the world is the issue of greatest concern to her. Ms. McCarthy is now the director of the Center for Climate, Health and the Global Environment, which is part of the Harvard School of Public Health. This event was part of a conference co-hosted by the Truman Center for National Policy and the Truman National Security Project. close
