Rudy Giuliani on Presidential Pardon Powers
Rudy Giuliani, a lawyer for President Trump, spoke on NBC’s “Meet the Press” about presidential pardon powers. The president earlier in the week pardoned conservative author Dinesh D’Souza, who pleaded guilty to making illegal campaign contributions in 2014. This led to speculation the president could use his pardoning powers for others, including himself. close
