Thomas Homan, acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), spoke at a forum on his agency’s mission to enforce immigration laws. He discussed a range of issues including “sanctuary cities” that shelter illegal immigrants and do not use local resources to enforce federal immigration law worksite enforcement, asylum seekers, and the separation of migrant children from their parents.
