The Atlantic Council hosted a conversation with Vincent DeVito, energy policy counselor to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, on the Trump administration’s “energy dominance” agenda. Mr. DeVito spoke about the steps the Interior Department was taking to promote and manage its portfolio of energy resources, while promoting conservation and environmental protection. He also talked about how the Interior Department is working with other agencies to streamline its permitting and approval processes, including making more decisions at the local level. close
