At the beginning of the White House briefing, press secretary Sarah Sanders gave a brief statement on the incident that happened at the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, where she was asked to leave by the owner. In her statement, she said that healthy debate was important but “calls for harassment” and “any push for any Trump supporter to avoid the public” were unacceptable. She then answered several questions on the president’s immigration policy, including his most recent executive order allowing migrant children to stay with their parents, and the president’s tweet opposing the hiring of judges for immigration cases. close
