British Prime Minister Theresa May reported back to the House of Commons on the 2018 NATO summit held in Brussels, Belgium. She said President Trump’s approach to the summit in calling for increased defense spending “has made a difference” to other members of NATO. The prime minister added, "We share his view that we want to see allies all stepping up to meet the commitment in Wales in 2014 to spend two percent of their GDP on defense and 20 percent of that on equipment. In addition, she took questions from members of Parliament on a range of issues, including Russia, U.K. trade relations with the U.S., and European security. close
