Representatives of Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter testified at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on efforts by the social media companies to filter content from their users, and to answer questions on how such efforts might be affected by political bias. Several Democratic members discussed President Trump’s Helsinki remarks on Russian interference and the intelligence findings of election meddling, while many Republican members questioned the witnesses on alleged bias in filtering conservative voices. close
