Pat Schroeder served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1973 to 1997 as a Democrat from Colorado. When elected, she was one of only fourteen congresswomen. In this interview she talked about balancing work with raising a family, her assignment to the House Armed Services Committee and her experience as one of the founding members of the Congresswomen’s Caucus.
