The National Press Foundation hosted a workshop for journalists on the history of international trade, the trade deficit, impact of tariffs and analyzing trade-related jobs data. This portion of the event included remarks by Jennifer Hillman, Georgetown Law Center international trade professor. She analyzed the Trump administration’s trade enforcement actions, specifically steel and aluminum tariffs. In addition, Ms. Hillman discussed World Trade Organization (WTO) actions and current negotiations involving the U.K.'s exit from the European Union, known as Brexit. close
