Tina Kaidanow, the State Department’s top official overseeing federal arms sales policies, was the keynote speaker at a discussion on the Trump administration’s arms control policies. She talked about the administration’s desire to boost the U.S. defense industry while using arm sales as a diplomatic tool. After her remarks, industry and policy experts reviewed the approach as well as concerns about some of the changes. Panelists also took questions from the audience. close
