Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) co-hosted a town hall meeting on countering domestic extremism and hate speech. Speakers included representatives from the ACLU, the Anti-Defamation League, and the former deputy mayor of Charlottesville, Virginia. The town hall was held ahead of the “Unite the Right 2” rally in the nation’s capital that was organized to mark the anniversary of the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville. close
