Reporters Without Borders and the National Press Club hosted an opening reception for the “Children of Syria” exhibit. The exhibit features the work of Austin Tice, a freelance journalist detained in Syria since 2012. The event featured remarks from leaders of both sponsoring organizations as well as Mr. Tice’s parents, who called for an end to the ongoing civil war in Syria and for the release of their son. close
