Catherine Kerrison, explored the lives of Thomas Jefferson’s daughters, Martha and Maria Jefferson, as well as Harriet Hemings, born into slavery at Jefferson’s Monticello and believed to be the child of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings.
