President Trump honored agents and officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the East Room of the White House. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Vice President Mike Pence spoke before the president delivered remarks and invited a few of the officers about whom he spoke to come to the podium to say a few words. The president pledged the support of his administration to the agents and families in the room. He said that without their work, there would be no borders, and the security of the country would be at great risk. close
