In a statement before members in the House of Commons, British Prime Minister Theresa May named the two suspects involved in a nerve agent attack against former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter. The prime minister said U.K. intelligence services had concluded the two men were Russian military intelligence officers that worked for GRU, described by Ms. May as a “highly disciplined organization with a well established chain of command.” Russia has repeatedly denied involvement in the March 2018 attack. close
