On the eve of the 17th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the Hudson Institute hosted a panel discussion on U.S. strategy and goals for combating terrorism. Panelists discussed the various Middle East military campaigns the U.S. has lead over the last 17 years in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria, and reflected on successes, failures and lessons learned. They provided assessments of current operations and made recommendations for what the U.S. should do in the years to come. close
