President Trump participated in a meeting with his National Council for the American Worker, a group charged with examining and developing a national strategy for workforce development. Ivanka Trump, one of the co-chairs of the council, began the meeting. The National Council for the American Worker was created via an executive order back on July 19, 2018. At the end of the gathering, the president also answered questions about an allegation of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. close
