President Trump and Polish President Andrzej Duda held a joint news conference in the East Room of the White House following their bilateral meeting earlier in the day. They recounted their meeting, which included discussion on U.S.-Poland military and economic cooperation. President Duda also said he told President Trump about the importance of the NATO alliance -- and its military strength -- to Poland. President Trump was also asked by American reporters about a slew of other topics, including sexual assault allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, his appointee to replace retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. close
