At an event hosted by George Washington’s Mt. Vernon, White House Correspondents' Association President Olivier Knox moderated a roundtable with political journalists on media and politics. The panelists acknowledged the changing media landscape and agreed that the reporter’s job description has not changed. The Washington Post's Robert Costa added, “You find a story, you investigate, you interview people, you construct the story in an objective way if you’re a news reporter, and you do it in an illuminating way.” Other panelists included CNN’s Abby Phillip and the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s Mona Charen. close
