Much of Senator Graham’s remarks were focused on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who the week prior had testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about allegations he sexually assaulted Professor Christine Blasey Ford while the two were in high school. Senator Graham criticized Democrats' handling of the accusations, and defended Judge Kavanaugh, saying the nominee “is not Bill Cosby or Harvey Weinstein.” close
