At the daily White House briefing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders defended President Trump’s comments questioning Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh at a campaign rally in Mississippi. Ms. Sanders stated the president was simply stating facts. She also responded to a New York Time story about the president and his family’s tax liability. Prior to taking questions from reporters, Small Business Administrator Linda McMahon thanked the president for donating his salary to the agency and National Security Adviser John Bolton spoke about the U.S. withdrawing from the Treaty of Amity with Iran. close
