The Defense Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault in the Armed Forces met to hear testimony from civilian sexual assault investigators. Three detectives from Boston, Baltimore, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, took questions from committee members about their experience with investigating sexual crimes. The Defense committee was authorized by Congress in 2016 to advise the Pentagon on sexual misconduct by service members. close
