White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to questions from reporters about whether President Trump bore some responsibility for suspicious packages sent to former Presidents Clinton and Obama as well as others. “There is a big difference between comments made and actions taken,” she said. “The idea that this is at the hands of the president, is absolutely ridiculous.” When asked if the president would stop insulting his political opponents, Sanders responded: “The president is going to continue lay out the case and differences between Democrats and Republicans.” close
