Prince Turki Al Faisal Al-Saud, former Saudi ambassador to the U.S., spoke about the evolving relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia at the National Council on Arab-U.S. relations' policymakers conference. The former ambassador also reacted to the criticism of Saudi Arabia over the death of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, saying “detractors” who “live in glass houses should not cast stones.” He added: “Countries that have incarcerated and tortured innocent people and that launched a war that killed many thousands of people based on fabricated information should be humble in their regard to others.” close
