Military historian Geoffrey Wawro talked about his book, Sons of Freedom: The Forgotten American Soldiers Who Defeated Germany in World War I. Professor Wawro used photographs and maps to argue that without the American effort in 1918, the French and British could not have defeated Germany. This talk was part of a day-long symposium hosted by the National World War I Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. close
