In the early 1900s, the Citrus Variety Collection and Citrus Experiment Station were established in Riverside, California to support the needs of the developing citrus industry in Southern California. Its findings led to the publication of a five-volume research journal called the Citrus Industry. Tracy Kahn, Curator of the University of California, Riverside Citrus Variety Collection, provided a tour of this living collection and talked about the role it has played in leading U.S. agricultural and citrus research. close
