British Prime Minister Theresa May delivered a statement to the House of Commons announcing a delay on the chamber’s vote on the deal for the U.K. to leave the European Union, also known as “Brexit.” Prime Minister May said she would continue working on a deal that would ensure an open border between Northern Ireland, part of the U.K., and the Republic of Ireland. Following her statement, she answered questions from a number of members of Parliament, including Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour Party leader. close
