In a 217-185 vote, the House passed a revised bill for government funding until February 8, 2019. The bill, which differed from a Senate-passed version, includes $5.7 billion for a U.S.-Mexico border wall and $7.8 billion in disaster relief. Government funding was to expire at midnight the following evening. The revised bill was not expected to pass the Senate.
