This is the final film in a monthly series produced by the Naval Photographic Unit to document the activities of President Lyndon B. Johnson between 1964 and 1969. The 37th president reflected on his time in office in speeches, ceremonies and events. He honored the Apollo 8 astronauts, dedicated the Hirshhorn Museum of Art, awarded several Medals of Honor, held his final Cabinet meeting, delivered a State of the Union address, and witnessed the inauguration of Richard Nixon.
