During a gaggle with reporters in the White House driveway, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders talked about the pending Senate vote on a continuing resolution extending funding for some federal agencies into February 2019, along with approximately $5 billion President Trump had requested for border security. “He would love to see them use the 51 filibuster,” she said. Ms. Sanders also talked about the withdrawal of U.S. troops in Syria, saying doing so would only make Russia work harder. close
