U.S. Naval Academy representatives discussed Decatur’s military career, including the recapture of the USS Philadelphia and the capture of the HMS Macedonian, and explored his legacy for the 21st century navy. The White House Historical Association hosted this event at the historic Decatur House in Washington, D.C.'s Lafayette Square. close
