Truman Presidential Library and Museum curator Clay Bauske toured the “Heroes or Corpses” exhibit, which follows Harry Truman’s journey through training and combat in France. Mr. Bauske also shared the letters Truman sent to his fiancé, Bess Wallace, who was waiting for his return in Independence.
