On day 33 of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, the House passed a bill to reopen the government, excepting the Department of Homeland Security, through the end of fiscal year 2019 on September 30. Members also approved a measure that would fund government agencies through February 28, 2019. Neither measure includes funding for President Trump’s U.S.-Mexico border wall proposal. close
