Current and former law enforcement and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officials discussed their ongoing efforts to combat the counterfeit drug and fentanyl trade. They talked about increases in opioid-related deaths and how counterfeit versions of drugs like fentanyl were complicating their efforts to reduce harm from illicit drugs. A victim of counterfeit drugs and three family members of such victims also spoke at the event. close
