Author Edna Troiano talked about former slave, abolitionist and minister Josiah Henson who was one of the inspirations for the title character in Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Ms. Troiano is the author of Uncle Tom’s Journey from Maryland to Canada: The Life of Josiah Henson.
