The National Commission on Military, National, and Public Service (NCMNPS) held a hearing on potential policies to encourage or require military, national and public service from all Americans. Panelists in the afternoon session of the event examined the pros and cons of a mandatory service program. Speakers included two former White House advisers who worked under Presidents Reagan and Clinton.
