C-SPAN’s Local Content Vehicles (LCVs) made a stop in their “2019 LCV Cities Tour” in Pasadena, California, from February 2-8, 2019, to feature the history and literary life of the community. Working with the Charter cable local affiliate, they visited literary and historic sites where local historians, authors, and civic leaders were interviewed. The Tournament of Roses Parade is one of Pasadena, California’s oldest and most celebrated traditions. What began as way to promote the new city’s mild winters and beautiful scenery has turned into an event seen by millions and a major economic boost for the Southern California region.
