Investigative journalist Jerry Mitchell talked about his 30-year career with the Jackson, Mississippi Clarion-Ledger. The MacArthur “genius” grant winner described how he helped put in jail four Klansmen responsible for several notorious assassinations and bombings in the 1960s. American University’s Investigative Reporting Workshop, Black Alumni Alliance and School of Communications co-hosted this event. close
