Commissioned by the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, this 2010 documentary includes survivors of the 1918 flu telling their stories, a history of the pandemic, and a look at the science of flu and the genetic sequencing of the 1918 strain based on remnants of the virus extracted from frozen bodies under Alaskan permafrost.
