The Heritage Foundation hosted a discussion about China, 5G digital technology and global security. Former House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Rogers (R-MI) delivered keynote remarks in which he voiced concerns about practices of Chinese telecommunications companies, specifically Huawei, and whether the practices violated laws, threatened countries' cybersecurity, or constituted economic espionage. After Mr. Rogers' remarks, a panel of technology and global security experts discussed the details and implications of the issues raised by the former congressman and took questions from those in attendance. close
