White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders spoke to reporters outside the White House. She said Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election resulted in the “complete and total” exoneration of President Trump, but that it was disgraceful it took two years to conclude. She said it had been “a witch hunt that should have never taken place in the first place,” and that the number of articles written and published about the investigation was “outrageous.” close
